Laboratory Valley Beater

Laboratory Valley Beateris used to beat pulp in a uniform, standard and reproducible way to determinethe behavior of pulp in laboratory. Beating is a preliminary step to thetesting of the physical properties of the pulp. 

Beater roll drumspeed:  500 rpm

Width of the bedplate:  159 mm

Number of bed platebars:  7 bars, each 3.2 mm thick set inlead 2.4mm apart

Thickness of flybar:  4.8 mm
